We are embarking on a Children's Ministry that will not only help move Capleville United Methodist Church forward, but also instill a sense of empowerment in our children. We hope to achieve this through volunteerism, physical activities, building comraderie, and creating healthier eating habits. Volunteerism will entail the children reading and displaying their artwork to our homebound members/neighbors, as well as other areas that interest them. We are looking forward to opening the church's family life center/gym to the children one Saturday per month so they can enjoy each other's company while engaging in their choice of activities (basketball, jump rope, hula hoop, etc.). We will also serve light refreshments during these activities. On occasional Sundays, we will have the children assist in the service by acting as ushers and possibly singing in the choir.
